I am 15 years old. I am about 5&#8242; 5&#8243; and I weigh 196 LBS.<br />
I am on a diet and I have my &#8220;meal plans&#8221; all figured out and I know what I can eat that is healthy and I feel good being on the diet but, Losing weight isn&#8217;t just about eating right foods&#8230;it&#8217;s also about exercising and getting a good ammount of fitness in your day.<br />
what are some good exercises for girls to achieve;<br />
1. a smaller stomach<br />
2. Smaller thighs<br />
3.stronger muscles<br />
4.Keep my breast shape and size<br />
5.Lose arm flab and face flab<br />
6. Lose finger fat (I have size 12 fingers and I want them smaller).<br />
7. LOSE WEIGHT IS THE MAIN GOAL!!!!</p>

My friend is concerned about her weight, (she weighs about 150, and is trying to get to about 110) and she has decided to do a &#8220;juice fast&#8221;, for, I don&#8217;t know how long, I guess until she loses the weight, BUT she is also going to be taking diet pills the entire time, like two or three times a day.1.How skinny is she actually going to get? 2.if she continues this, how long might it be before she get really hurt? </p>
<p>I&#8217;m concerned about it, but she says there is no stopping her until she loses at least ten or fifteen pounds, so is there any way she can lose the weight super fast by doing this, so that she might stop after like a week or two? It seems to me like it could work, but I know it will hurt her if it takes too long.</p>
<p>Wait she now tells me that she is styill doing this,only she is eating one or two apples a day, or some baby carrots.Any difference?</p>

<p>that is if she wont excercise because if she does OHH man she might faint while running and get injured</p>

well what happened was i was going to try the 1,200 calorie diet for a while and it work! but really i&#8217;m a sucker for chineese food and i compleatly lost control of my self! now i feel like a huge lard butt and i don&#8217;t know what to do!i heard that sucking in your stomach then wait till it burns then hold it 15 more seconds and i&#8217;m doing that a little but i cant tell if it&#8217;s working! i heard on a website that if i &#8220;fast&#8221; for 2-5 days then for a week eat nothing but fruit&#8230;&#8230;but not to sure that healthy. i think that if i fast tomorrow and do some simple exorcises then for a week after eat NO junk what so ever it will help bunches but i don&#8217;t think i have the will power! well basicly what i want to know is your thoughts and if you have any helpful exorcises that will do something&#8230;..doesn&#8217;t have to be just abe exorcises! any will do! thanks alot!!!!!!</p>

<p><i>Answer by maggie</i><br/>I&#8217;m sorry, I can think of ways to do that but they are incredibly unhealthy, you will wreck your body. The more you starve your body for &#8220;fast results&#8221;, the slower your metabolism will get, so if you ever try to eat normal again you&#8217;ll pack on pounds even faster. I think your best bet is to normalize your diet and start to exercise and let your body find it&#8217;s own comfort weight&#8230; if you have concerns talk to a nutritionist.</p>

I eat a very balanced diet.<br />
I eat 6 meals a day each consisting of (about) 5 parts protein, 2 parts carb, 1 part fat. I have a serving of cranberry extract, green tea extract, chia seeds, fish oil, apple cidar vinegar and a multivitamin daily. I have 3 servings fruit and 4 servings vegetable every day. I&#8217;ve talked to whole foods experts and nutritionists alike and every time they say something along the lines of &#8220;thats a good diet plan&#8221; however every time I suggest taking something additional they ofcourse say it&#8217;s a good idea. I don&#8217;t know of anything else that i&#8217;m missing but would love some tips from anyone who happens to have a good suggestion.</p>

Hi everyone!! OK, I have never really had to diet before and thanks to my sit down job.. someones got a lil flab going on. 3 years of this job and I have gained 25 pounds&#8230; YUCK&#8230; anyways, can you please look at the &#8220;daily meal plan&#8221; and tell me what you think? I will switch it up, just wanted to see if this is OK to start and so on&#8230;<br />
How many calories should I eat, and how many does this meal contain?</p>
<p>Breakfast: Special K cereal bar, an apple, coffee (black)<br />
Snack &#8211; 2 pickles<br />
Lunch &#8211; 4 turkey slices on whole wheat w/ mustard, 100 calorie snack pack<br />
Snack &#8211; green peppers or fruit</p>
<p>Dinner &#8211; Baked chicken, on romaine lettuce, w/ fat free cheese, bacon bits and LITE dressing&#8230; do not like fat free, green peppers, celery and carrots.</p>
<p>Snack &#8211; 50 calorie Popsicle- if I have craving.</p>
<p>Drink at least 6 20oz waters and skim milk. NO POP</p>
<p>How much a week could I lose?</p>

<p><i>Answer by bmac</i><br/>5 kg? (10 pounds) is a lot.  You are going to have to exercise AND you WILL have to eat.  Don&#8217;t even think that you will just not eat or just not eat much.  IF you go bellow 1,200 calories a day, your body will hold on to every calorie and fat gram to protect against starving&#8212;that means you won&#8217;t lose anything.  Your body must have 1,200 cal a day.  Just eat the right things.  Lots of fruits and vegetables, lean protein (meat, fish, soy) not too many carbs (skip that second helping of mashed potatoes, ok?) and the carbs you DO eat should be as close to whole grain as you can get.<br />
Get out there and exercise.  It will be close but you may get close to 5 kg in a week.</p>
